Oscar Gustafsson

My research interests include:

  • Design and implementation of digital filters and transforms for ASIC and/or FPGA
  • Arithmetic circuits

In particular:

  • Mapping of DSP algorithms to hardware (algorithm/hardware co-design)
  • Design of finite wordlength FIR filters
  • FFT architectures
  • Shift-and-add ("multiplierless") implementation of computations
  • Approximation of non-linear functions/frequency synthesis
  • Parallelization of algorithms for high-speed implementations

I teach the following courses:

  • TSTE 18: Digital Arithmetics
  • TSTE 87: Application Specific Integrated Circuits for Digital Signal Processing
