Daniel Petersson
Background
Daniel Petersson is a Postdoc at the Division of Automatic Control at the Department of Electrical Engineering at Linköping University (Linköpings universitet). He joined the group in November 2006 after completing his M.Sc. degree in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering (Teknisk Fysik och Elektroteknik) at Linköping University.
Daniel Petersson successfully defended his dissertation, A Nonlinear Optimization Approach to H2-Optimal Modeling and Control, on September 27, 2013. An implementation of the methods described in the thesis can be found here.
Research
Research interests are model reduction and identification of linear parameter varying (LPV) models using the H2-norm.
