Background
I am currently a Ph.D student at the Division of Automatic Control, Department of Electrical Engineering, Linköping University. My main supervisor is Professor Claudio Altafini. I received my M.Sc degree at the University of Padova, Italy, in February 2017.Research
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a disease in which the myelin sheath that sorrounds nerve cells is damaged. This disrupts the ability of the nervous system to communicate, resulting in a range of signs and symptoms. Interestingly, during the third semester of pregnancy, there is a significant improvement in the disease. Therefore we aim to use this physiological tolerance to understand how to correct the dysregulated immune responses observed in MS.
