Postdoc Mark Ng
I was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1983. I received my BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering and Ph.D. in Mechatronics Engineering, both from Monash University, in 2006 and 2009 respectively. The title of my Ph.D. thesis was "Advancements In Robust Fault Reconstruction Using Sliding Mode Observers". This thesis is available for access and download here.
Prior to joining the Vehicular Systems group, I was a Lecturer (equivalent to Asst Professor here at LiU) at the Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering at Monash University for 5 years.
Research
I am currently working as a Postdoc here, researching on the Fault Diagnosis of Single-Turbocharged Gasoline Engine, which is a collaboration with Volvo Car Corporation.
My research interests include disturbance decoupling fault diagnosis, sliding mode observer, as well as engineering applications using mobile computing systems.
